I have internet again!!!
St. Andrews is a charming town of small shops, restaurants, golf, the University and several churches. There is a lot of old meets new with most of the town being older buildings with modern updates. The odd part, for me at least, is that most of the town is around golf and the University, yet all the coffee shops and shops close around 5. PM. Not 5 am, after students have pulled an all-nighter, 5 pm when some of us are just getting out of classes for the day. So different than Humboldt and Sacramento. The restaurants and bars/pubs stay open later (and several have free Wi-Fi), but bringing my laptop to a pub to work on a project just does not feel right to me.
Anyway, the town is just what I was wanted and I hope some of you can come and visit during my stay here. Below are pictures to entice you to come. :-) Also, Mom and I found a great tavern outside the city wall (because St. Andrews was a walled city and there are still parts of the original wall still up) that has locals sharing stories, good nachos, cheap beer, and free Wi-Fi. We have been there twice for dinner. If you come visit me, I will take you there.
Cheers!

| I went into the North Sea... this much. |

| Mom went in the sea as well. Apparently she likes to tempt fate and turns her back on the ocean. She is a daredevil. |
